Our Programmes

Community

Our Communities Programme is made up of three distinct projects: Bus, Sports, and Arts.

The idea behind the programme is that young people shouldn't have to come to us when we can go to them. We want to remove any barriers that might prevent a young person from engaging with us, which is why the projects are run directly in the local communities.

Over time, we have become a recognized, trusted support for the community, which enables us to fulfill our goal of pursuing long-term, impactful relationships.

Project Empower

Our Empower Programme consists of two initiatives: Navigate and Skill Empowerment. Both projects address the challenges that hinder young people from securing and maintaining stable employment, thereby reducing the risk of drug use and abuse.

Our goal is to transition young people into employment, education, or training by providing them with the necessary tools for success and helping them develop essential job skills.

Project Navigate

Navigate is a structured six weeks transformative intervention designed to address the pressing issue of substance abuse among adolescents and young adults aged 14 to 26. In response to the alarming rates of substance abuse and its detrimental effects on young adults and their communities, the Program Navigate offers a holistic approach aimed at empowering participants to make informed decisions, build essential life skills, and lead healthier, substance-free lives.

Furthermore. Project Navigate recognizes the importance of addressing the underlying factors that contribute to substance abuse, such as peer pressure, lack of education, and limited access to positive alternatives. By fostering a supportive and inclusive environment, the program aims to empower participants to resist negative influences, make healthier choices, and become advocates for change within their communities.

The program's comprehensive curriculum covers a wide range of topics, including;

  • Understanding Adolescence and Identity development
  • Substance use and abuse prevention
  • Sex education
  • Mental and emotional wellbeing; Building healthy relationships
  • Decision making and future planning
  • Entrepreneurship and Innovation
  • Project assessment and closure

Project Enable

ENABLE is an Economic Empowerment Program aimed at providing young adults with valuable skills in mobile and web application development, cinematography and video editing, photography, graphic design etc. Our goal is to equip participants with the tools they need to secure meaningful employment or start their own entrepreneurial ventures, thereby reducing the allure of drug use as a coping mechanism for unemployment.

Unemployment is a significant driver of drug abuse, as idle youth are more susceptible to the lure of drugs. By providing practical skills that enhance employability and entrepreneurial capability, we aim to create sustainable avenues for young adults to gain financial independence and contribute positively to society.
